The Public Defender
We must pay attention,
To all that we have heard;
For all the intention,
As expressed in the Word.
Then never drift away,
From all that the truth says;
As to not go astray,
Keep on His path always.
The message angels brought,
As true as it can be;
Purchasing what you sought,
But not able to see.
For all violations,
And disobedience;
Of the regulations,
With Christ as your defense.
The public defender,
Is Jesus our Lord;
For all race and gender,
Will never be ignored.
If we reject His call,
On the message that saves;
Then we will surely fall,
Deep into our graves.
When the Son got control,
There was not any doubt;
The Father gave each soul,
Ensured nothing left out.
