Ages past of her and then
Upon grand ship thought of often
With jewel Blue she ran fingers
Bringing to now of he that lingers
Somewhere within the deepest depths
Of sea and mind and tears hers wept
Of loss and found again this day
It's here she longs and wants to stay
There was a time, not long ago
A time of love and to and fro
Of waltz and jig that made them so
Desperate to cling and not let go
Here passion rose to occasion
Theirs perceived as misbehaving
But none the less attraction found
The young at heart now two spell bound
Jealousy reared its ugly head
Upon then time by one spoon fed
With thoughts above all those below
With much more less compassion showed
Yet fate would have its way this day
Like soap opera life's drama played
Its hand of loss to all on board
Surviving now was now their cause
At all costs they fled to bow
A place now safe at least for now
But this day the sea would claim
What love had birthed, life brief sustained
Hope now sunk as did their ship
With leap of faith this seas courtship
Came to end as death would take
What was but brief her lone soul mate
Ocean of Memories title inspired by a musical track
and by the the movie “Titanic“
