Every ounce of make-believe
for everyone has such a thorny crown..
Borrowed for blue the cats come unglued..
To believe something so wrong..
As long as I get what I've come for..
No one will get harmed..
For the sake of wanton flesh
For a child to be born for the sake
of the living and the shaky hand of the dead
Keeps on giving..the time of day so soon
it betrays and rips into the atom of
space and milk spilt over an entire
generation are we still trying to recover?
Put on a frown the love your giving me
is like a cancer of the sea..plastic
that never dies in an ocean of disease..
The higher you put me up on the shelf..
the greater the fall and many the broken
pieces scatter so long it takes to gather..
into the dust bin I go..Thrown away..
for what for who makes no sense at all..
I should know the clock on the wall
definitely started it all..from such
innocence babies breath and the tall
green grass that grows..
