Nightmare (guilty conscious)

I'm battling these images in my mind,
trying to get free
Same old road same old route
Asking the Lord for forgiveness,
Trying to get the pain out
Up and down on this crazy elevator
I don't have a dog,
Time to walk the alligator
but he keeps snapping at me
I don't have a billion dollars for the bail
Me and the invisible man
sitting in the two seater jail cell
Voices emanating from the deep throated well
Screaming, we got forever if you're lucky
Fear's all around, I thought I saw Chucky
Could this be hell?
I couldn't speak but my conscious spoke
Guilty! then I awoke
