There are many and yet so few
To write this day again for you
You who holds my very thoughts
Lord of all, today's gift brought
The Sun to rise as its is yours
A chance to breathe and to endure
One more day if just today
One more time, to thank and say
Give me words to touch someone
To say to them you're still not done
With them and me still work in progress
Each one you love no more, no less
Grant me letters to spell the cure
To bring your peace to wars endured
For on this day you spoke again
To one who ails and wounds you tend
Life is yours to have and hold
To place within all weary souls
Strength but yours rough times would steal
Transform the weak again to heal
Greater love no one can give
This sentiment that spells forgive
The push to forge ahead in song
Small praise, such things to you belong
Bestow upon my eyes to see
The one who needs to be set free
To say to them that they are yours
And clouds of doubt bare nothing pure
Surely someone upon this site
With thought in mind on keyboard strikes
A story yours that needs be told
A love song sung to add to fold
Grant me words to speak and leave
A place in them to now believe
As time draws near and you will too
To birth from death one's near breakthrough
