Poem #13
Written by Arielle Bosler
Tears Drift Away
Missing my family, crying over people who care
Loving them all the same, leaving without saying
To the one who has stayed with me through
Thick and thin, not saying good-bye
Makes tears, tears, tears drift away
Rolling off my cheeks straight onto the floor.
Pouring out from the deepest deepth of my heart,
Just pouring and pouring, a non-stop poouring
Causing my tears to drift away from the saggy eyes.
Tears drift away as time passes by remembering
Family, friends and my pets,
Loving, missing them all the same.
Never saying bye to one of them hurts me with many tears
Tears on which Tears drift away, down my rosey cheeks,
Whose eyes are closed with tears....
Missing all the ones who mean the most to me but most of all,
Knowing God's love has my tears drift away.
And become tears of rejoicing for the Lord and His mighty power
For missing my family and my friends tears of great pain will come again
My way as long as I have Christ by my side
(It isn't the easiest road to travel but it brings great joy to others, making it all worth while)
Those tears of pain will just turn into tears of faith later on down the road.
Tears drift away, leaving my side, causing me no more pain.
That is until they come back again.
Hoping to be his lovely bride someday
