Visions

Words

Like petals from a flower
or blades from an axe falling
to scent or sever,
like raindrops
or sobbing tears,
whispers of the wind
or a tornado!
Arabs drop to the ground
to avoid an imprecation.
And there is that one Word
though grass may wither
and flowers fade,
stands forever!

"The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever.”
Isaiah 40:7-9
