Always give thanks onto the Lord,
To show He is loved and adored;
And make music to praise His name,
Along with His Word to proclaim.
Mercy by day faithful by night,
His Word makes it all look so bright;
As it sets my heart on fire,
While playing the harp and lyre.
I find joy in what He has done,
As it was displayed through His Son;
And sing joyfully with my hands,
As I listen to His commands.
How deeply planted are His seeds,
For growing such spectacular deeds;
And how deep within is your thought,
The price He had paid that He bought.
Stupid people can never know,
The direction that they must go;
A fool will never understand,
The final flow of sinking sand.
Troublemakers bloom like flowers,
Making merry through the hours;
But to be destroyed forever,
When their life line God will sever.
My eyes gloat over those who spy,
As my ears hear the ones that cry;
As the unrighteous in control,
To amorally take each soul.
