         Come on Down!

Close your eyes and listen…
can you hear the calm waves quietly
lapping as they come ashore on that
white sandy beach?

Can you feel the warm summer breeze
as it blow through the slowly swaying
palm trees?

Can you see the magnitude of early evening
stars as they twinkle in the southern skies?

Can you smell the salty seawater from the Gulf of Mexico?
Can you feel the soft, white sand between your toes?
If you’ve been here before, don’t you wish you could be
here once more!

Now open your eyes, if this brings back good memories,
then load up the old Chevy and come on down to Panama City,
where the Gulf breeze always blow and the sand is as white as
 crystal snow.
