This is a message we have heard,
From Jesus the Christ through His Word;
It should make you cheerful and bright,
Knowing that the Lord is pure light.
God is light pure as it can be,
Pure light that is pleasing to see;
Only joy without feeling grim,
Since no darkness is within Him.
If a relationship with God,
Is not showing honor and laud;
Then we are living in the dark,
Not truthful in where we embark.
But if we live in the same way,
We would not be going astray;
Never venturing towards the night,
And always doing what is right.
Then truly sister and brother,
Relationship with each other;
As the blood of Jesus His Son,
Indicates the cleansing is done.
Cleansing us from every sin,
That has corrupted us within;
And being sinful no longer,
Not as a worldly hatemonger.
If we say that we have no sin,
Then the truth could not be within;
And ourselves who we deceive,
Lying about what we believe.
If we are willing to confess,
God is more than willing to bless;
Cleansing us from unrighteousness,
That was causing the sinfulness.
