silent goodbye
you gave me a silent goodbye
no words
but it still hurts
I'll try not to cry,
it's funny how
a unsaid word
can still be heart,
and put tears in the eye
nothing hurts worse
than a silent goodbye
I know I wasn't meant to last
but its so hard to let go of the past.
sometime it cuts the heart like a knife
watching love slowly go out of your life
quietly in the night
I know it was wrong
but it felt so right,
now I'm alone,
but try not to cry,
nothing hurts worse than a silent goodbye
