My sleep was deep
As if no world
Existed
No love...passion
No wanting...needing
so deeply hidden
Too long denied
Never truly touched
Neither spirit
Soul or mind
You walked into my dreams
Stirring me
from my slumber
I woke slowly
Waking to a new
world
A world you created
only for me
Slowly
A flood of emotion
Invades me
They excite...frighten
Yet...I am
Confused...comforted
Calmed
My once weary soul
Feels a renewed sense
Of life
A sense of purpose
Cautiously, slowly
I wade through
The newness
That has found me
I can feel you
By my side
Even when you
Are not
Becoming a constant
A peaceful presence
No longer
Do I want
To hide my emotions
No more denial
I am no longer
Untouched
I am awake
I feel alive
I am home
I am new
Because you
Woke me
Because you
Touched me
I am transformed
A new creature
Content at last
Peace at last
