After waiting for almost five days
Insurance approval given Friday
Claims adjuster delayed the issue
Head nurse called her superior too
Additional symptoms I had Friday
Tingling in hands checked that day
Afternoon appt my doctor assistant
Not serious but I had peace at least
Occ Health had tried to reach me

Returned call first thing on Monday
Spine doctor appt. afternoon Tuesday
X-rays to pick up from three locations
Called ahead not ready two destinations
Monday night listened to online program
Song about peace in the midst of the storm
God used the words to encourage my heart
Reminding me He was there never to depart
Tuesday I worked four hours in the morning
Image Point our main job duty was just ending
I already told my supervisor I had to leave early
But relieved work was done based on new policy
Ate lunch in the break room to refocus and rest
God was with me whatever final results of tests
Last visit more than three years ago in duration
New paperwork I had to fill out in completion
Nurse took vitals and PA did her initial assessment
Every body part to check flexibility and movement
Doctor came in looked at x-rays with his examination
No fracture damage or therapy needed in conclusion
Released me as able to work without any restriction
Put me on three week anti-inflammatory medication
Said everything should go away on its own overall
Then he half-chided to be more careful when I fall
Lord, thank You for the positive doctor report today
In Your perfect timing, You will heal me day by day
Grant me Your daily strength to cope with the pain
Until by Your grace, I am restored to health again
