We Missed Our Flight
After missing our flight, the plane, 10/25/08
We stayed the night at the Holiday Inn Express
For the night and had to walk on foot
The restaurant we ate at
Getting up at 3 in the morning just to be able
To catch the flight by 6am
Looking out the window I see the cities
What a wonderful view!
Seeing the sunrise I see the marvelous
View of the peaceful atmosphere!
Looking out the plane to the ground
I think we are passing over the Mississippi River.
Arriving in Atlanta Georgia and waiting for
Our next plane, we only had to wait like 5 mins
After boarding the plane
Then waiting for the plane to taxii
I wrote this poem, while up in the air
Sun, so bright to work out the window.
I drift to sleep and waking up about
A half hour before landing back in our
Home state of Michigan,
(My home state is Michigan born and raised)
Having to take a taxii, to our next location,
We sit in the taxii just waiting
When we arrive in the parking lot
We gather our belongings and pay the taxii driver
After packing the car, I fall asleep and about an hour
Later we arrive name from vacation.
Hoping to be his lovely bride someday
