Rose petals floating in a bath divine
rose water and you
Soft as silk, skin glistening with dew
these are my thoughts of you
Candles aglow, scents of heavenly
desire in a warm mist
tasting the sweetest of honey dewed lips
lingering in your lustful kiss
Tingling passionately in slow warm pulsating
streams of desire
At long last in ecstasy sublime, caressing of
fondling fingertips on fire
longing for the tender touch of you
as only you know how to do

My arms ache to hold you close
it is what I love to do most
to feel your heart beating fast
awakening my desire at last
Floating on a bed of roses
I come unto you, as I promise
in the after glow, dinner for two

in early morn spring showers
soft velvety petals moist with dew
kissed me with memories of you

I held it so very close to my heart
wishing it was from you sweetheart
longing for the tender touch of you
as only you know how to do

Among my flowers a red ruby rose
is the only one my heart chose

FRAGRANCE OF A ROSE

The fragrance of a rose delights the senses
buried in the hearts of one who love deeply
intermingling sorrow with happiness it grows
blooming only in warmth of love that shows

A rose loses fragrance when beauty is gone
crushed by the chill of a winter's storm
like a heart lost without Love's great power
only to rise forth in warmth of spring's shower

A heart is vain that does not see beauty
in winter's storm when darkness is lain
for fragrance of a rose shall again shower
within nature's own time of glorious power
