One Which Brings Me Unending Release

********

A trend:

People are admitting
who they are
publicly to
others.

Admitting to other
people who are not
necessarily safe.
Its become a brave new world.
With nets, no
guarantees.

But I travel on
a breeze
of mindfulness.
Hello, this is who
I am.

Choose to accept me
if you desire,
if you can.
It won't matter so much
whether you like me
or not...
I'm freed.

I like the person
that I am and
the one that I'm
not.

Observe:
there is no chip on
my shoulder.
I ground it into sawdust
long ago.
I had no more use for it.

Let people think
what they do.
Let their thoughts meander
beyond my control.
It is for them to wanderor to wonder
perhaps, even to judge.

I have my path,
I do my best
to avoid the mud.

I am freed
from the burden of
their derision.
It was my
wisest
and my best decision.

One which brings me
un-ending release.
