Poetic Verses
That Struggle
It is quite noticeable that many neighborhoods has undergone a transformation
Because they have be subjected to can be a subtle but concerned infiltration
Those who are benefiting and so this brought on that reluctance
And so over time the drug lord began to demonstrate a form of dominance
Now those children unattended and are on the street needlessly roaming
Because very ripe and fell prey to those guys as they do form of recruiting
And so in this atmosphere they may find that warmth missing in their family
So they quickly gobble down that bait dangling before them quite readily
Those guys now at first appear benign but gradual they assert that influence
Sort of controlling those minds making the dependent by their dominance
And over time may soon become pushers or mules as they market demands
Now being overwhelm as they in time see the amount of cash in their hands
Another set may fall victims to some other command of their pangs
And will become the member of one of the neighborhoods gangs
Then after they have gone through what is a period of internship
They then have to prove by performing a specific task as loyalty and for membership
So at some point in time some person or some form of property
Would be the chosen target so that this can be the seal of authority
The resulting damage to property and the subjecting of the person to form of humiliation
Would be greeting with cheers as the member is egged on in this initiation
In some places the people live in such great fear and terror
As the sound of gunfire can be heard more often than an hour
Whilst other may not be that fortunate and may be fired on
If a family member happens to be a member of a rival gang
As people and countries realize that they have a grave problem
And have many hands on board to deal with the situation
But it looks like may be a long and very trying uphill struggle
Because those guys in lots of areas have attached a tentacle
