I Once Was Blind But Now I See
Mending Friendships
When someone wrongs you and they are a friend you feel an uneasy feeling.
There is resentment and anger experienced which takes its toll on the friendship.
This has happened to my friend and myself.
She did something I am not at all happy.
Wanting to get her out of my life I had refused to talk to her.
However, there was something within me that had me do the right thing.
To forgive her. I knew this is what I had to do.
I will remember what happened and still regard her as a person who will do the wrong thing from time to time.
But for the most part I have forgiven her for the infraction.
I happened to think of what Jesus would do and of course He'd forgive her.
So I am very much less than the Lord and always will be.
It is something though when a friend of yours turns on you as she did.
I am having a hard time with this and trust the Lord will make it go away.
This is my hope and prayer.
