I Once Was Blind But Now I See
A Breathtakingly Beautiful Portrait
When the artist paints a scene of majestic worth in a piece you stand in awe.
A breathtakingly beautiful portrait is offered for your pleasure,
There is a scene of the windswept trees quickly blowing; in the wind.
Or there is a sight of a beautiful human being captured for all time on the canvas.
Well, these are all well and wonderful to see and look upon, but there is something far greater.
The subject is the created world of which I am referring
God's creation is the most beautiful of all portraits.
It is so far reaching and unique that only He could have made it.
Do we have praise and adoration for such a sight?
Nay, in most cases, there is no praise and adoration for the creation.
This is to our shame and doesn't paint a warm picture for the Lord to see.
A breathtakingly beautiful portrait will encompass the creation.
For it is the Lord's work and not that oif the prainter to have made such a thing as the world.
