A Tropical Paradise

A Tropical Paradise
Robert O. Adair, Yahoo! Contributor Network
At the junction of the river
with a lake dotted with emerald isles,
a paradise with vernal skies
never sere and yellow in Autumn,
nor desolate in Winter.
Perpetual Summer smiles
upon this land laden with flowers
of every kind and alive
with the songs of birds
with the richest, most variegated plumage.
the fragrance of a thousand blossoms
borne on the gentle breezes.
The azure heavens
whisper eternal peace
to troubled souls.
Truly a home of the blest!
