Hanging Pictures

There in a museum,
sitting there by a cow
skull and a white canvas
being ironic.

Men in white,
carrying the
pictures away

in broad day light.

But not really,
it was in their eyes
capturing the piece.
Bringing it to themselves,
it seems.

That they were hanging pictures up
hoping it capture the flavor
of the gala that they once graced.
