A New Heaven and New Earth

flowers photo flowers.jpg

From Revelations Chapter 21 verse 1 King James Version
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

Let me rest here among new born flowers
beside the oak trees of my youth
watching butterflies, those frivilous hours
counting blessings and knowing the truth.

Here among things Your love has wrought
let me marvel in Your craft and creations.
I desire to reclaim the peace I've sought
and to feel those glorious sensations.

What man has created will ultimately fade
and Your beauty will eternal remain.
Every mountain peak and grassy glade
will echo Your refrain.

All the earth recants Your grace.
Yes all things great and small.
One day this will be a better place
when the world of man does fall.
