Visions
Twilight Song
The sun sinks down
in a display of glory,
the splendor of
God's Creation.
The long day is done,
things accomplished,
things left undone.
Twilight flickers into night,
The silver Moon shines,
the stars come out,
the Milky Way is strewn
across the sky.
We two sit together,
a song of twilight in our hearts,
a song of many years,
a song of love and laughter,
of sweet togetherness,
of something more precious
than silver or gold.
A gift of God!
in a display of glory,
the splendor of
God's Creation.
The long day is done,
things accomplished,
things left undone.
Twilight flickers into night,
The silver Moon shines,
the stars come out,
the Milky Way is strewn
across the sky.
We two sit together,
a song of twilight in our hearts,
a song of many years,
a song of love and laughter,
of sweet togetherness,
of something more precious
than silver or gold.
A gift of God!
