I Once Was Blind But Now I See
My Time In Newport's Heritage of Newport
When my dad passed away in February of 2005, I had to soon go to another facility instead of where I was.
Little did I know it was the beginning of a new life for me and a new family.
Living there was a time I will always remember for it was there I met a man by the name of Bob G.
He became my friend at the beginning then my brother; in my extended family.
The truth of Bob was he had a love for me that wouldn't stop.
We never did anything sexually together of course but the family love was there for the both of us to share.
O I remember so well the time he took care of me.
It was then I had a new brother and one of whom I love to this day.
