And I brought forth my firsrborn son...... Terry and Mom
Especially For You, Terry
It’s too late for your birthday…
So I had to scratch that one.
Photo Bucket was on the blink
And the poem did not get done.
But I’ve come to this conclusion…
It needn’t be a special day
Just to let you know I love you
In my own poetic way.
To tell you you’re important…
For no matter where you are…
My thoughts are always with you
And my prayers do reach that far.
You’ve got a bit of wanderlust…
It is in your blood to roam.
But remember when the road gets rough…
All roads can lead to home.
Don’t ever cut the heartstrings
That will keep you tied to me.
You may no longer be my "little boy"
But you’re my son eternally.
Down deep within your heart you know
There can never be another
Who will ever be the heart of home…
Because no one replaces mother.
There are sometimes disagreements…
Even times when doubts may rage…
But, in spite of all the storms of life,
God has put you on my page.
So I hope these little verses
Will in some way help me to show
How much your mama misses you
And, son, I'll always love you so.

2 Timothy 3:15
And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures,
which are able to make thee wise unto salvation
through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
John 16:21
When a woman is giving birth, she has sorrow
because her hour has come, but when she has
delivered the baby, she no longer remembers the
anguish, for joy that a human being has been
born into the world
