Long after you've played this game
will your headstone be your only claim to fame?
Lying beneath it in a cheap suit or dress
in a self made void more or less.
Was it ignorance or lack of self esteem
that never allowed you to complete your dream.
Was it fear of the lack of recognition
that left you in this unsung position?
The ego, super ego and Id reside in us all
and they can cause us to rise up or fall.
But in us all is the power to be Stars or Kings and Queens.
But mostly heredity and environment keeps us from realizing our dreams.
The odds of being famous are out weighed by the chance that your not.
But that doesn't mean that each day you shouldn't give it your best shot...
