When I am faced with failure
Yet I know how hard I’ve tried…
When worry washes over me
Like some terror toting tide…
When ravished by rejection
And loved ones seem indifferent…
When sickness slips in unaware…
Lord, Your Grace is sufficient.
When loneliness lurks everywhere
Even in a crowded room.
When memories roll down my cheeks
And daylight comes too soon.
When it’s always raining in my heart
When, in reality, it isn’t.
When empty arms echo a loss
Lord, Your Grace is sufficient.
When Satan taunts me with a sin
Your shed blood’s put behind me.
When I forget just Whose I am
Then, dear Lord, please remind me.
When life lets go of that last breath
And I am not resistant…
When at last I stand before Your Throne…
Lord, Your Grace is sufficient.

When we became Christians, God did not
promise us a rose garden…instead Jesus
told us it would NOT be easy.
Following Jesus is easy when life runs smoothly...but
our true commitment to Him is revealed during trials.
Jesus assured us that trials will come to His followers (John 16:33).
Discipleship demands sacrifice... and Jesus never hid that cost.
But His Grace is always sufficient to see us through!
2 Corinthians 12:9
Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord
three times that it might depart from me.
And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you,
for My strength is made perfect in weakness."
Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in
my infirmities, that the power of Christ
may rest upon me
