ULSTER HOSPITAL

In a hospital....  Place called Dundonald

this hospitable hospital is situated

At the entrance to Dundonald village

on the outskirts of Belfast City.

Okay it’s a Friday and I’m supposed to

Catch a plane to Australia on Monday.

In a quandary, you see they’re not going to

Operate on me until Saturday morning

But what I didn't expect, was the 5 star luxury

The charming nurses dispense. Their wages

In no way recompense towards the affability and

their total dedication to caring for patients.

No complaints towards against the care shown here.

A smile the soft kind words and on top of it all some craic.

Now Monday is here, and they’re releasing me.

They might not let you board the plane say they.

Ach well says I gotta try, but one thing for sure

If you ever have to go into hospital make sure it’s ward 11

In the Ulster at Dundonald on the outskirts of Belfast City
