ONE MOMENT IN TIME






ONE MOMENT IN TIME







Oh the pain I felt today
When you dared to glance my way,
My heart did a somersault
And I thought my heart would halt.

         

I wanted to run to you
Our love we could then renew
But it wasn`t meant to be
I just had to look at thee.

         

I caught the kiss you blew me
A kiss no one else could see
It`s safe now within my heart
I`ll never ever let it depart.

         

I waved then you waved in return
For you I longingly did yearn,
Just to hold you once again
I know would ease my constant pain.

         

My heart skipped and missed a beat
We were so close our eyes did meet,
So near yet so far away
We will touch again one day.

         

This one moment I will treasure
It was agony and it was pleasure,
No I`ll never forget today
As you took my breath away.
