Poem 383 Written on November 12, 2013 By Arielle Bosler Our 2nd Vacation Together & Our First October Christmas & Our First trip to Kentucky! Our 2nd Vacation Together & Our First October Christmas Started off with a simple drive down to my mothers Which was a breeze nice and simple Which was the start to a fabulous 2nd vacation together When Prince and I were upon my mother's house She feed us dinner, which was a kind gesture in itself. Which continued to make our 2nd vacation that much more special. Then As Chris and my mother went to take rosey for a nice stay I was home starting on the baking that my mom and I had planned to do Then when my mom and Chris came back I had already made Two dozen cookies and two batches of Rice Krispies for the Bake Sale And as my mother started baking she baked brownies and more cookies This was the first time my mother and I had actually baked or cooked Any baked goods with one another in her kitchen that had been there for 15 years As time was flying by we realized it was already 1 am in the morning And we had to be ready to go by 5 am, so off we were to bed While I laid down for bed I had a thought or two cross my mind Which happen to be that cooking with my mom Had made Chris and I's second vacation that much more enjoyable! And as I lay there I realized just how much I had been missing If my mom and I would have just put our differences aside And just started baking together sooner! As 4am came upon us, if flew by because we did not wake up Till roughly 4:30am, which was only 2 and a half hours of sleep By the time I had fallen asleep, lets just say I was very cranky Which didn't start the morning off to well but atleast I had my prince by my side and standing along side me.... Not only was this Chris and I first trip to Kentucky as a couple It was also the first time my brothers, my mother and I Went down as a family to see my grandfather in his own neighborhood in years Yes, I realize that he lives in Kentucky so it is harder to see him But i think with everything, I should have made the effort to go see him more especially when I was living with my mother and my brothers.... In the long 8 and a half hour car ride we only stopped twice for bathroom breaks And really we should have made a lot more stops than that mainly because of the fact That I had no leg space because I am the smallest and the youngest I had to sit in the Back in the middle like normal, with my brothers, since there was five of us in the car. After the long car ride we had an amazing time with Papaw and Deedee After we got back from lunch I took Chris on a small tour around my (Grandfather) Papaw's house As they took us out to eat a small portion for lunch because we hadn't eaten yet. Then after we came back Chris had the pleasure of meeting my aunt and uncle On my moms side. And while it was still day light we took several photos together before we took off for supper.... Then since Deedee and Papaw suggested that us grandkids decorate the tree With christmas ornaments, I went around to get everyone When I noticed that Nate was too busy watching a football game with Papaw to help So, I asked my bubby and he said why not.... and of course my prince came to the Rescue too and helped decorate the tree... When we finished decorating the tree It was time to go see a fishery museum by wolf creek damm.... Then go eat at the Wolf Creek lodge I was amazed at the sight a few things during this time period. One I was amazed at the sight of the Wolf creek damm It's such an amazing venue to see, especially when your Not so little any more and you can have more of an appreciation for nature But then again I have always had a fascination with Nature minus misquites that like to bite me Second thing that amazed me was that my uncle Truette and Christopher Were getting along, I have never in all my years actually had My Uncle Truette be so appreciative towards a boyfriend of mine in my past till now. Thirdly, I was amazed that all of us were together for the October Christmas As we came back to my papaw's house in Jamestown, Kentucky Prince Charming, and the rest of us celebrated our first October Christmas Ever Down in Jamestown, Kentucky on October 26th, 2013. I am not so much so enthused about the gifts from the family members As I am just spending quality time with them for they do not have that Much more time to spend with them... On October 26th, 2013, we not only exchanged gifts for our First October Christmas I had also recieved my birthday gifts from those who had presents for me.... What I recieved from my prince charming truly shows me just how much Of a true romantic and a true prince he really is... He gave me a princess Ariel and prince Eric figure from Ariel the little mermaid. This figurine not only proved to me just how much of a true romantic he is But it also is a symbol representing: Prince Charming as Prince Eric And me (Ariel) as Princess Ariel Because of the fact that he thinks that I am a princess and treats me like one! Over all Chris and I's 2nd vacation together was a major success and event to remeber Let alone having it be our first trip to Kentucky together as well as our First October Christmas!
