So many a Lazarus
Has been raised from the dead!
For if Jesus called us forth
Our death stance has been shed.
Once dead in our trespasses…
Buried by our will to sin…
We were made alive in Christ
After we were born again.
O, please grasp the significance
Of what this does imply!
If one is truly one with Christ
Then one will never die !
Yes, death can claim the body…
It is subject to decay…
But one day God has promised
Even this will pass away.
There are future resurrections
As recorded in The Word…
When the graves will all be opened…
When the trump of God is heard.
But a spiritual resurrection
Is available right now…
Bought and paid for at The Cross…
Sanctioned in our Savior’s brow.
For prior to our salvation,
Spiritual corpses were our lot.
We were covered in depravity…
Buried in the devil’s plot.
Incased in coffins of self-centeredness
Far from the blood bought path…
We were aliens to the covenant
And made subject to God’s wrath.
O, then, came the Voice of Jesus
“Come forth!” and in that hour
We were totally…. completely
Raised by Resurrection Power!!!

~~Author’s Note~~
All who are not in Christ commit spiritual suicide
and become incapable of doing the things that
spiritually alive people do, such as enjoying
God’s presence, praising and thanking Him, and
experiencing His blessings. They (as we once were)
are walking dead things, spiritual zombies! We, too,
walked “according to the world, according to the prince
of the power of the air [Satan],…fulfilling the desires
of the flesh…” If God had not directly intervened
in our lives with the Gospel, we would be condemned
to gnash our teeth at the final judgment because
we were “children of wrath.”
Ephesians 2:1-3
And you were dead in the trespasses and sins
in which you once walked, following the course
of this world, following the prince of the power
of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons
of disobedience— among whom we all once lived
in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires
of the body and the mind, and were by nature
children of wrath, like the rest of mankind.
1 Corinthians 15:22
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall
all be made alive.
John 11:25
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though
he were dead, yet shall he live:
