Star Light, Star Bright
Wise men
sought Him once,
following a star,
a sign in the heavens
of a Heavenly King,
a sign-something special
which speaks to the elect,
those set apart:
a virgin shall conceive,
not a young woman
as fools suppose-
and call His name Immanuel-
God with us.
Wise men came West
to find
the power of God and
the wisdom of God,
the desire of all nations-
as the foolish now
go East to find
falsehood and folly.
Wise men
seek Him still.
