A Christmas Memory

When I was smaller than today I was looking forward to Christmas.
I remember I was approximately ten years of age.
We had a live  Christmas tree to honor the Lord for the holiday.
The good feelings I had back then were uncomplicated  and free.
There was a harmony felt within the people around me to say my wishes to them.
Was a special time for us all to know we were loved.
My brother and I never had to worry about our parents love.
For it was always there.
So many things were ours to share back then.
There was a true belief in God and we exercised our beliefs in doing memorization of Luke chapter 2.
I was so happy that the school taught us to believe.
Today there is nothing like this and it is terribly sad.
There is no mentioning of the morals we had back then.
A lot of things have changed over the years which makes my recollections of my ten years obsolete.
Give God the opportunity we had at one time and get back to the way things should be.
