I Once Was Blind But Now I See
A Wonderful Christmastime
Many are the Christmases I have been able to spend; in my lifetime.
A wonderful Christmastime has happened on many occasions.
For one where we were able to get all we wanted for Christmas was one of the first to be remembered.
Another was when my parents were looking for something for Christmas that I had got for them.
It was a box which intrigued Mom as to what it was the Christmas before the last one she was here.
Then the last Christmas Mom was here it was a measly two dollars I was able to give to Mom.
This last one was hardly a wonderful Christmas but one I remember so well.
For you see the part of the holiday was that Mom was able to give me a five spot on the same day.
God is the Originator of times like these for all people.
There are memories which come to the surface when thinking of the holidays.
Bless the Lord for the small gifts which mean so much.
