'' Think Of The Misery It Brings ''

Would you cheat on your spouse if the opportunity arose?
Could you become a louse with the lies you compose?
If you can honestly say yes to the questions above,
Then there's no need to guess your spouse you don't love.

If there are children involved did you take time to think?
Their love for you dissolved when you caused that stink,
Though the consequences were dire you were tempted to cheat?
The risk lit your fire you're now guilty of deceit.

Can you live with the fact that decision's all yours?
It's a conceited act but the temptation lures,
You cannot make excuses when the truth comes out,
It's one of life's abuses to leave the innocent with doubt.

When you finally get caught as you ultimately will,
You'll be left distraught when it's your blood they spill,
When your accomplice and you decide to part,
Believe me it's true you'll have a broken heart.

Those you once adored will no longer be there,
While you are left floored they will no longer care,
For being rejected they will never forgive,
Left feeling dejected for as long as you live.

Only you and you alone can resist any temptation,
If you choose to condone it the result is damnation,
If they cheated on you how would you feel?
You know that it's true your pain would be real.

Cheating is for fools you know that's it's wrong,
It's against all of life's rules it does not make you strong,
Think before you leap into a stranger's bed,
The title of creep will make you wish you were dead.

The aftermath will be you are left on your own,
It's then you will see it's true happiness you've blown,
Adultery may seem inviting but as the alarm bell rings,
Though it may seem exciting,
