I Once Was Blind But Now I See
The Lord Gave Us the Holly Bush
During this time of year, we are concentrating on the finer things of earth.
One of these things is the holly bush.
Notice the dark green leaves and the thorny tops and the red berries.
It is Christmassy all the way around for it being a part of the holiday.
Rejoice, in the smaller things, including the holly bush.
For it holds a significance all its own.
One is able to reflect and rejoice over the simple things this world has to offer.
Let the Lord be praised for having the holly bush as one of these.
I loved to make a wreath of holly and hang it up; on the front door.
For it welcomes the visitors to our home in a special way.
The Lord is always right in everything He does.
His creation, of the holly bush, is one example.
Praise the Lord for the joy that is associated.
Keeping, in mind, the real truth of the holly bush as being God's creation.
Knowing the joy of the Lord is a positive part of the Christmas season.
I am so glad the Lord allowed us the privilege of having the holly bush for this time of year.
Praise His holy name.
