'' It's Your Earth You Need To Revere ''
As a species you just love to cause aggravation,
Killing others for fun there'll never be a cessation,
While some die through obesity others die of starvation,
To common decency you refuse to adhere.
You take from the planet without giving in return,
You make Mother Natures stomach churn,
Her repeated warnings you continue to spurn,
Destruction seems to be your career.
Your lives seem to be ruled by material wealth,
What you can't have you take by stealth,
All the while you're ignoring the planet's health,
Why oh why do you sneer.
Why do you refuse to acknowledge the facts?
You cannot paper over very large cracks,
You are responsible for what are criminal acts,
The repercussions will be severe.
Our planet has more to care for than you,
It's those other life forms you are causing ado,
Though you still have time to start over anew,
Your attitude is so insincere.
Waken up now Armageddon's approaching,
It's on the fabric of life you are encroaching,
To learn about death you do not need coaching,
The present is what you now need to fear.
Disaster is looming, it's staring you in the face,
Your ignorance for others is a total disgrace,
All life forms are dying they can't last the pace,
You can't see it yet it's all crystal clear.
By continuing this path your species won't last,
The world around you is fading so fast,
Your future will become that thing in the past,
You can't survive anywhere else but here.
Those other planets you aspire to cannot be bought,
Their right to solitude did you give that a thought,
Conservation here and now is what you need to be taught,
