Remembering the Past Christmases Of My Youth

Days were filled with excitement and wonder as the days went by.
Expectations of the things I'd get for Christmas were most apparent; in my mind.
There was a specific joy associated that only Christmas could afford.
I am recalling one such occurrence when our parents had told us we could have anything we wanted for Christmastime.
It was then the stereo was bought for me and the other things associated.
There was a fruitcake that was so delicious and tantalizing which was ours to enjoy.
There were the records I had wanted and received.
Joys upon joys were ours to share and remember for my older brother and I  had been given what we wanted.
My parents had aaved all year long to acquire the things we received.
Remembering the past Christmases are special memories for we were altogether.
Today it is so true our parents have gone on to their reward and Heaven is their home.
My older brother and I are the ones who are remaining and hopefully for  a long time to come.
May the experiences you have had as a child be remembered in this piece for yourself.
Knowing as you give the Lord the praise He will bless you and make you happy.
