Poetic Verses

Time

How many could remember those days in the Christmas season
When those relatives who were living in another part of the world's region
Would take time out to write and send such a beautiful post card
And in some there would be something monetary to show that regard

On listening one would see how those people waited so expectedly
Because they know at this time that cash would improve the season significantly
So when that postman's bell ran to make that contribution a reality
There was such a household joy which was one so uncontrollably

At that area where mails were gathered which is the Post Office
It was quite noticeable the numbers and bags of mails through which the workers had to sift
But many of them were also glad that this was the reason at it was the season
Because of this the overtime will add some addition to their monthly remuneration

Some though will complain about the times they worked the rates per hour
But the wind of change has now cause many of them to certainly shudder
Because now those bags of mails are not that many as times before
And that former days of over time has now been thrown out the door

What they are seeing now is lots more of those little packages
And these are being sent through their system express services
But too they are feeling that strain imposed by many of those private companies
Who can in some cases provide same day and even within twenty four hour delivery

But what too now has made sending that to be such a great difference
Because they can be sent by e-mail and this is very economical and E- convenience
And having those address the sender can immediately in one digital swoop
Send that mail or card to all those people in that group

So everywhere one can see people with all types of electronic contraptions
Making contact with their friend and relation no matter the times or seasons
And so with such at the fingertips and all the others at their disposal
Connections can be made and financial transactions and purchases are all permissible
