The fire blazed ----

all forms,

in its wake
it moved
but the world
stayed in its place
cascading and
crumbling
to the ground ----
the smoke,
rose
and choked
the oxygen
out of the air
death ----
everywhere
anywhere

the red and orange

took everything
from me
a thief
in the night

a robber hiding
in plain sight
my family
dead
my friends
misplaced
alone

for all of my memories
have been
