I heard you in a song today
You sang of love and yesterdays
Became what once was me again
A soul in need of you to mend
A Flute would play its part in song
It killed softly of things gone wrong
and for the moment I felt whole
Again to love, the past to hold
My hands trembled as you drew near
Near to me who I hold dear
Tears would come and play their part
To captivate these things of heart
Love played its piece in melody
Casting no doubt of you and me
A better state of mind still keeps
You dreamed of when fast asleep
There where heart now beats again
Are better days that came to end
There where joy of time I bend
To hold once more, relive of when
Of You we miss, of you my then
Of You
