I Once Was Blind But Now I See
Remembering A True Soldier Named Lyle B.
There is a precious man who was once here on earth by the name of Lyle B.
He served his country well as a soldier in the Armed Forces.
Freely giving his life and his sacrifice of service was he guilty.
I am so proud to have personally known this soldier.
For he became a brother and a friend sometime later; in his life.
The joy of experiencing the many blessings he had within him was something wonderful.
He led an exemplary life which I was able to grasp and hold within my own heart.
May you come to know his first name and know the power of a man he was.
To me, Lyle B. still exists though he is on a long journey.
The Lord required his soul one day last year in January.
It was a sad time for us in losing him but he is not gone away for always.
One day we will see him again and he will answer to God for himself.
This is a joy and a purpose I have to hold unto and do.
Bless you, Lyle B., for the man you are and remain to be.
