They tell me not to cry
And so hard not to I try
But so much just goes wrong
Sometimes my heart is not strong.
Day after day I just hope for more
Better days but nothing is like before
Alone my tears can't stop they just fall
In silence my heart then hears them all.
So many times days in and days out
So much rain I see that I just want to shout
Praying on my knees I ask God to help me cope
Trying to do my best everyday with my faith hope.
Living and surviving passing with strength each test
As long as I can to make it for me and all the best
Always believing that there might a better tomorrow
In the midst of each and all my trials and sorrows.
They tell me not to cry and they mean well I know
My Lord only knows how hard I try but they just flow
But I know that He always hears my prayers when I call
Him, and He will be with me and help me through all.
