I am sitting here contemplating Life
Surprised at my own longevity
See, Mom died at the age of 54
Cancer took her very young
My Father--the beast, the devil came
First he was hit by a car
Then wheelchair bound died in a house fire
At the age of 69, he had a heart condition
Sis also died young age 66 diabetes
And a stroke came in the night
My Uncles, three died of heart attacks
The oldest was also 69
The latest cousin cancer 67
This by far makes me the oldest of my family genes
Grandma reached the age of 70
I have one sister left but she is 17 years younger
And in reality a half sister
I think it is cauliflower--no one in my family likes
it or broccoli--my stepfather is 100 he likes limberger cheeze
