The Crown of Thorns

The awful pain and agony that must have occurred did so on this day of Crucifixion.
The one who placed the crown of  thorns did so harshly.
He pressed down upon the Savior's head the crown and mocked the Lord.
It is a sad occurrence and remains so today; in our hearts and memories.
The awful pain and agony was insurmountable to say the least.
But Jesus took it and kept silent as a lamb before his shearers.
He opened not His mouth.
But one day in God's tomorrow Jesus will speak and it will cause the mountains to crumble and fall.
His voice will be audibly be heard and great will be the joy experienced.
But during this time of the Crucifixion the pain was an awful lot to bare.
Jesus did it for  us and if you were the only one on earth He would have one through the same torture.
Jesus deserves all praise and glory we can offer Him.
