Your smile much missed and too your scent
Once mine a part much Heaven sent
Exchanging vows just yesterday
A part of me that wished you stayed
A part nears loss my bitter pill
My place drawn remorse now fills
Another chance still rings inside
Inside of heart that fears and dies
A place where holds my solitude
A cause, effect by attitude
We lost ourselves along the way
The path, crossroads we both would stray
We made a pact before the eyes
Of GOD that sighs and also cries
We broke more than our promise too
The Lord that promised our breakthrough
Hold my hand and look into
My eyes in need, of much, of you
Broken are what GOD repairs
Souls so lost so unprepared
To fight a fight that kills this day
A glimpse of what was yesterday
Love became our failure to
See beyond ourselves, of two
That need to say sorry and come
To fix this mess that has become
Becomes of you and I that cling
To love our hearts once use to sing
Think how much we stand to loose
If walk the path alone we choose
The loss too great for one to bare
The loss of two that made a pair
Alone enjoys our company
You and I loves symphony
A piece unheard, unseen by us
A state, a place where lost was trust
Trust to give a chance to mend
Trust we both with time can lend
Another day will pass this day
Of you I miss and you that stays
Upon what was and still can be
If broken comes of you and me
Broken
Broken
