A Magnificent Soldier Named Lyle B.

In all the years of my life I have been a civilian not by choice but by nature.
Meaning?
I had applied to go into the Air Force some years ago and was turned down for two things.
But this one soldier did make it and he was  a magnificent soldier by the name of Lyle B..
He had a way about him that put everyone around him at ease.
Even to the point of being able to feel free to share  your thoughts with him and they being accepted.
He was  a dear man of whom my life was full and is full today in remembering him.
The Lord opened the door for us to meet and become close as we  have.
Though he is now gone; he remains to be  part of my heart and life in ways the Lord only understands.
I know that within my heart and life there is a magnificent solider that is part of it and there is no turning my back on him.
For the love is most assuredly there and will be for all time.
Bless  you, Lyle B., for being the magnificent solider you were and remain to be.
