I hate the silence of this wall
when did words fail to persuade us
when did we crumble and fall.
Say something loud to wake us up,
play something that's old yet true.
When will we fill this empty cup?

I'm not willing to say goodbye
but nothing about us makes sense
and I don't know the reason why.
Say something before it's too late,
try something new to mend two
before our love turns into hate.

I'm bleeding inside, pleading with you
to try whatever helps us pull through
but nothing is not the option to choose.
Say something that will speak us into life
try something that will break down pride,
tear down this wall of discord and strife.
