The Season of Lent, An Acrostic

(Inspired by Ronnie J.)
The special time of year is upon us.
Heavenly thoughts turn our minds toward Him.
Ever be faithful for the Lord is King of kings and Lord of lords.

Simply because He is above all and forever will be.
Even though we find ourselves in the cares of the day there is peace.
A happiness known of God and freely given to man is God's joy.
Strike the harp and play your music in accordance to His will.
Only make merry; in your heart, for the Lord is near.
Never leave the Lord out of the equation for He is the Primary Number.

Only we can know the value of Lent and its meaning.
For in Lent, we are looking toward the time of Easter.

Life with its cares and problems is a gift from God to all.
Ever reminding us to be faithful to Him.
Never losing ourselves in the daily grind of things should we find ourselves.
Taking the Lord at His Word is the wisest thing anyone can do.
