A Quiet Sunday Afternoon Time Stands Still

Services at the local church are over and the afternoon comes.
A quiet Sunday afternoon looms ahead for the people.
In a quaint laid back area, the people are like that of yesterday.
They find themselves; upon the porch, speaking to their neighbors.
The church bells begin to ring out their hymns of the faith.
The white doves are flying around and cooing.
When they approach the steeple they become silent and still.
Life is something wonderful in this quaint and laid back land.
The sky is so blue and the puffy white clouds swirl as they ascend toward Heaven.
Find yourself embroiled not in something harsh but of comfort and serenity.
Knowing the Lord has allowed you this time of being a part of this land.
As you drive through the area you are caught up in the premise of the world as the people see it today.
Unhurried and not clamored but something most free and blessed.
Give of yourself to the area around you and become a part of it foir a time and realize the worth of a quiet Sunday afternoon.
